What a bizarre set of circumstances, a local city mayor finds himself arrested, facing several charges including purse snatching! The mayor of the city of San Gabriel was arrested Friday.

Albert Huang, 35 year-old Taiwanese American married with one child, is the mayor of San Gabriel, California. He was arrested at about 1:30 a.m. Friday. Huang is accused of snatching a woman's purse in the parking lot of a strip mall on the 300 block of West Valley Blvd. in San Gabriel, taking off in his SUV with the woman clinging to the side of his vehicle.
