Manuel Antonio National Park and the adjacent town of Manuel Antonio with giant lizards running at my feet.

The Volcán Arenal (also known as "Pan de Azúcar", "Canaste", "Volcan Costa Rica", "Volcan Río Frío" or "Guatusos Peak"; a young and highly active volcano in Latin America) National Park is found in the rugged Cordillera de Tilarán and is one of the top volcano viewing areas in the country. 

The Cloud Canopy (Forests) near Monteverde and Santa Elena.

Dominical is a tropical backpacker's haven.

Tamarindo is the place on the Nicoya Peninsula for surfing.

Mal Pais on the Nicoya Peninsula. 

Jaco (beach) for surf junkies and expats from around the world.

Tortuguero National Park on the Caribbean Coast for turtle watching. 

Osa Peninsula and Corcovado National Park. 

The Irazú Volcano is the highest active volcano in Costa Rica at 3,342 meters. 

The Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. 

Playa Conchal in Costa Rica ranks as one of the country’s finest beaches.
